About Windpark Maintenance
OXplus has started a partnership with IMS International. IMS International participated in an innovative Windpark Project covering 6 windparks. This project is called ‘DAISY4OFFSHORE’ where IMS provided services and their asset & maintenance management solution. By making smart use of all kinds of sensors , a concept has been developed that makes it possible to gain insight into the performance of the wind turbines. These sensors:
- measure corrosion on turbines.
- record vibrations and movements on the tower and rotor blades.
- measure the oil level.
- measure the temperature and monitor the weather conditions.
The sensors provide a lot of data that are analyzed and on which Measures can be taken. The maintenance costs can thereby being reduced significantly. This can be done by real-time interfacing sensor data to the asset & maintenance management system within DAISY. This allows maintenance and inspections of wind turbines Driven, Monitored and optimized. All fields engineer are equipped with smartphones and tablets from where they can enter / add valuable data and photos to the system. The DAISY WindTurbine solution provides an excellent dashboard for the owners of wind turbines and can serve as a second opinion on the Performance of service providers.
Furthermore DAISY:

- has a central control tower functionality for its Management, as well as a real-time interactive 24/7 connection with Tablets and smartphones.
